The picture that isn't Aracely Henriquez

More Bollox

Apparently this is Aracely Henriquez. Allegedly, according to this meme, kidnapped and beaten by George Floyd and five accomplices.  But its total rubbish.

It's actually a picture of  Andrea Sicignano an American student attacked and raped in Madrid 6th Dec 2018.

Don't share absolute bollox!

COVID-19 ~ 2nd Place for Deaths 3rd Highest Spike in New Cases

On the 5th May 2020, the UK took on the sad crown of 2nd highest deaths from coronavirus in the world.  6th of May we have the 3rd highest spike of new cases in the UK since this started.

Is it strange that the two leaders of the countries with the highest deaths or is it a sad indictment of their complacency and failure to act? With literally more data to hand than most other countries? The evidence was there, all the had to do was prepare for it. Did they? Sadly no not quickly enough, they were severely lacking in their response and even in their belief that COVID-19 was a threat. Comments like "its a hoax" and "I shake hands with everyone" are the evidence of their belief in the threat.

Now some will say, and even Johnson said it today you cant compare countries, well yes I'm going to agree with that. The UK has a population density far higher than most other comparable countries.  Which is the reason we needed to move sooner.

I covered population density here Has Sweden Found The Right Route in a blog about Sweden and its herd immunity route

UK population density per Mi2             = 710
Germany population density per Mi2    = 603
Italy population density per Mi2            = 518
China population density per Mi2         = 377
France population density per Mi2        = 319
Spain population density per Mi2          = 241
USA  population density per Mi2          = 87
Brazil population density per Mi2         = 64
Sweden population density per Mi2      = 60

Knowing that we had a much higher population density, there is no question that the Government should have implemented the stay at home policy earlier than others and not waited.  Had they done that 2 weeks earlier, we might even be coming out the other side of it now.  I guess in their defence people wanted coffins to be convinced but Johnson didn't help that with conflicting information.

I'm still shaking my head at the governments herd immunity path they initially followed and don't forget they had all the figures to hand.  Yet they were still going for that scenario, unbelievable.

Herd immunity in Sweden is a possibility and seems to be working but it's understandable with a population density of just 60 per Mi2 and they have got it wrong with many care home deaths. Herd immunity in the UK was never going to be a possibility with a population density of 710 per Mi2.  Nearly 12 times that of Sweden.

It seems now that having been late to initiate stay at home, Johnson is now making noises about relaxing measures. In my opinion, this is far too early we've just become 2nd place in the world for deaths.

As if to serve as a warning we've had the 3rd highest spike (6,111) in new cases today the 6th May 2020, since this started.  2nd highest was 6,201 on 1st May 2020 and the biggest spike was 8,681 back on 10 April 2020.

Johnson has proved to be a likeable, bumbling, schoolboy character and people have voted for him.

Unfortunately, that don't cut it, it doesn't cover the incompetence, the incongruent comments in briefings to the country. The lies, the misinformation this government has made and continues to make.

I covered the Incompetent brothers Johnson and Trump here

The 100,000 test is a good point in question, why lie? Why not say we set an ambitious target and we missed it but we are carrying on improving until we hit it.  Why send out thousands of test kits to random people that never asked for them and include them in the 100,000 figure.  THEY WERN'T TESTED.

Some will say this is not the time to be holding the Government to account. I say its more imperative that we hold the government to account now because if we let them carry on making the mistakes they are it could have fatal ramifications for some of us and no one knows who.

But it could be you.

Would you really let a driver of a bus, drive over a cliff edge without doing something to stop him?

50,000 more nurses? 31,000 is the answer.

50,000 more nurses?

How many of those will actually be new?   31,000 is the answer.       #nomoremisinformation

This is a fairly simple one and i'm not even going to get into whether they can achieve 31,000 more nurses, fund it, train them etc although I did see something on a nurses site which said they wouldn't be full nurses as they take 3 years to train, but another time for that.

So this is just about maths and misinformation of which this election and indeed the referendum saw levels of lying, fake news, misinformation, vilification on a scale never seen before and its a scary direction we are heading in. Democracy is voting on facts not misinformation, Dictators use lies, and misinformation.

Anyway I give you two Tories and a BloJo (Not a bad name for a group that :-))

The maths are simple stop trying to spin it and say it as it is, in the end Boris had to but bloody hell did it take some time.

If you have 2 cows and the Tories give you 3 more, do you have 5 more cows or 3 more cows?

If you have 2 apples  and the Tories give you 3 more, do you have 3 more apples or 5 more?

If you have 2 pound coins in your pocket and the Tories give you 3 more, do you have 3 more pound coins or 5 more?

No more needs to be said really.

The BBC's absolutely indefensible Bias against Jeremy Corbyn continues

Will Jeremy Corbyn's long march lead to power?
In 2009 at a Palestine Solidarity meeting he referred to “our friends from Hezbollah” and “our friends from Hamas”. His defence, when criticised, was similar to his stated reasons for meeting Irish republicans. He told Channel 4 News that “to bring about a peace process, you have to talk to people with whom you profoundly disagree”.
Note the last part of that quote  “to bring about a peace process, you have to talk to people with whom you profoundly disagree”

Picture 1 posted about 2am in morning
It's interesting that the image on this link was one that was obviously put up to make Corbyn look like a communist. See picture 1 above posted about 2am and picture 2 below, by 11:44 the image on the website had been changed).

I remember thinking well if that's not biased reporting from the BBC I dont know what is.

The absolute lies, misinformation and hypocrisy is literally beyond belief.

Picture 2 changed by 11:44 Am
This was run only a few days after the BBC had "Accidently" run a video of remembrance day from 2016 making BloJo look good and Corbyn look bad.

In reality it was BloJo that looked dishevelled, made several cock ups and laid the wreath upside down.  Still the media only had time to shout that Corbyn hadn't bowed enough.   Apparently there isn't a right or wrong way to lay a wreath, but I guarantee there would have been if Corbyn had put it the wrong way up.

One looks like hes been out at a nightclub all night and the other is Jeremy Corbyn.

BloJo Smarter on left in 2016 against on right looking like been pulled through a hedge backwards 2019

BBC apologises for using wrong Remembrance Sunday clip

Then whilst listening to Radio 5 live I heard the interviewer saying "but surely this is just going to let Corbyn into number 10" not Labour but Corbyn.  Any references on the other side were not made about Johnson but the Conservatives.

Absolutely indefensible Bias.

They have done exactly the same before in 2018 positioning Corbyn on a screen next to a picture of the Kremlin.

Apparently it was the curved screen, yeah right.

Did the BBC edit a photo of Jeremy Corbyn to make him look close to Russia?

Getting out of the EU can be quick and easy

Unfortunately when your voted in its your duty to do the best for the whole of the country. MPs have a far better insight and knowledge (Ok well leave Chris Grayling and a few other out) of the impact of whats going on. Also there at the front line of information rather than the bollox Tory media like the Sun spouts out on a regular basis. Which actually brain washes people into believing ridiculous things and certainly not fact. If you remember that the sun has a readership of 6 million that alone is nearly a third of the leave vote.
The majority voted to leave with a deal because that is what the Brexit campaign, campaigned on. Leaving without a deal was shot down as project fear and wouldn't happen. We would be able to strike the quickest and easiest deal with the EU in history.
Go and check the interviews from 2016 if you don't believe that. So Labour certainly are following the wishes of the majority and fighting to leave with a deal. Its not anyone elses fault that the Tories have fcuked this up.
Dictators never succeed in the end and Mayhem certainly prooved that the Tories are a Dictatorship by going of and negotiating "Brexit means Brexit". Just that her "Brexit mean Brexit" wasnt what anyone else thought it meant.
