I totally agree that the Gulf states should be helping refugees. The problem is that, even if those gulf states said they would accept refugees the refugees couldnt get there.

The refugees are fleeing IS as it presses into syria from the south. The only way for the refugees to go is north. Yes some have fled into northern Iraq but lots of that are controlled by IS.

So which way would you go South into IS controlled area's or North into Turkey and Europe?
